North Carolina ranks 9th in the United States for the most reports of human trafficking, and Charlotte specifically ranks first in North Carolina and 10th nationally as one of the worst cities in the United States for human trafficking. For 14 years, Justice Ministries has been committed to combating sex trafficking and sexual exploitation of individuals, with a focus on rescue and housing. Through the support of our partners, we have been able to assist over 500 individuals in their transition to freedom and independence.
Our newest campaign, "The Guest House", is our attempt at providing more safe and free housing options for victims of trafficking through purchasing and managing tiny homes/ RVs. We have set a goal to raise $500,000 by December 2025 towards this project. The following is a breakdown of what we are raising for:
In addition to financial support, we would encourage you to partner with us through fundraising! Check out "how to partner with us thorough fundraising" below for more details.
One of the best ways to get involved with Justice Ministries is to advocate on our behalf to your personal network through fundraising for us. WHY? Because fifty percent of people say that they give to an organization because a friend asked them to. Your fundraising fuels our programs that are fighting against violence and exploitation.
It's really simple. Click "Become a Fundraiser" below to create your own fundraising page. You will be asked to set a fundraising goal and to give the reason why you are fundraising with us (we gave you a template you can use). You can fundraise individually, create a fundraising team, or join an existing one. Then you can share your fundraising page to your personal network through email & social media, and all donations to you will go directly to Justice Ministries.
Your partnership with us will help us continue to offer free services and housing to survivors of trafficking. Thank you and happy fundraising!
